Testimonials

The instructors and the Abcott team were very supportive. I received a job through Abcott even before I completed the program. Everyone was very friendly and professional. They all go the extra mile for their students.

I was trying to decide on a career where I could help people and enjoy what I was doing... There were a few schools that I could have chosen, but when I found Abcott Institute, I knew that's where I wanted to go!

Tiera G

Abcott to me is more than a school. It's a facility that takes time to satisfy each student.

Great experience! I learned more than I had expected. My instructors were fantastic and very helpful. As hands-on-training is quite important in surgical technician training, I really liked the way our instructors used examples and visual aids to make things easier for us.

Brenda Shill

I've had amazing experience at Abcott Institute, from my first day all the way till my placement. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. Abcott brought out the passion in me that I actually didn't even know I had. I will be now working as a medical assistant and I plan to continue my further education in the same school.

Why Accreditation Is Important

Abcott Institute seeks Accreditation Reaffirmation – Oct 2023

Abcott Institute is applying for reaffirmation of accreditation with the Commission of the Council on Occupational Education. The primary purpose of the self-study is to examine an institution’s qualifications for accreditation through a comprehensive self-evaluation conducted by the institutional personnel. The self-study process also serves as a strategic planning vehicle for the improvement of all institutional services.

The council provides guidelines for creating the Self-Study report in a manual that each institution is expected to use in planning, conducting, and reporting its self-study. Abcott Institute’s last Self-Study assessment was in April 2017.

Persons wishing to make comments should either write to the Executive Director of the Commission, Council on Occupational Education, 7840 Roswell Road, Building 300, Suite 325, Atlanta, GA 30350, or submit their comments through the council’s website www.council.org (Posted August 1, 2023)
